A typical psychoeducational assessment for children, adolescents, and adults costs $2,760.00 (flat fee). This comprehensive, in-depth evaluation provides valuable insights into an individual's current functioning in various domains, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioural areas. These assessments are conducted by a Registered Psychologist trained in detecting and diagnosing Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Behavioural Disorders, and other issues. The process involves an initial online intake appointment to cover background information, plan the assessment, and obtain consent. Subsequent appointments may include administering an intelligence test, academic achievement tests, clinical rating scales, and measures of memory, visual-motor integration, attention, executive functioning, and adaptive functioning. The psychoeducational report will be emailed, and a following online feedback meeting will be booked.


ADHD Assessment

A typical adult ADHD assessment costs $2,070.00 (flat fee) and involves an initial online intake appointment to cover background information, plan the assessment process, and obtain consent. A typical adult ADHD assessment costs $2,070.00 (flat fee) and involves an initial online intake appointment to cover background information, plan the assessment process, and obtain consent. A subsequent in-person appointment will be booked to complete an intelligence test and a measure of sustained attention. Clinical rating scales for ADHD symptoms and executive functioning will be sent out for completion.

A fully virtual option (1B) is available at a reduced cost of $1,610.00 (flat fee) and does not include the intelligence test. Please ensure you have the following before booking the online ADHD appointment:
1) Chrome Browser
2) Wired or wireless mouse
3) Headphones or external speakers.


Autism Spectrum Disorder

A typical autism assessment costs $3,680.00 (flat fee) and includes the psychoeducational assessment along with administering autism-specific measures such as the ADI-R, ADOS-2, ASRS, and SRS-2. For adults who do not require an academic assessment, a reduced cost of $3,220.00 (flat fee) is offered.


Gifted Assessment

A gifted assessment for Westmount Charter School can begin as early as 3.5 years of age to evaluate a child for Kindergarten admission. Reports are emailed to parents, and an optional online follow‑up meeting can be booked. Note: WPPSI‑IV results must be within one year; WISC‑V results are valid for three to five years.

The Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program offered through the Calgary Board of Education begins in Grade 4 and requires both a cognitive/IQ test and an academic achievement test. The process includes a 30‑minute parent consultation, 1.5 hours of cognitive testing, and 2 hours of academic achievement testing completed over two days. Based on the results, parents may choose a full psychoeducational report ($1,840 flat fee) if giftedness is indicated, or a summary report ($690 flat fee) if it is not. Reports are emailed to parents, and an optional online follow‑up meeting can be booked to review findings and recommendations.

Sharon Blott is a Registered Psychologist within the Province of Alberta. Her registration date was March 22, 2001, and her Registration number with the College of Alberta Psychologists is 2612. She has extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults, having worked for both the Catholic and public school boards in Calgary. As well, Sharon was the Manager of Assessment Services at a private school that specialized in the education and support of students with learning disabilities. She has been in private practice since October 2010 and is in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She is also registered in British Columbia (#2601) as well as Yukon.
